PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT Title: Environmental Scoping Meeting Related to the Surry Power Station, Units 1 and 2, Subsequent License Renewal Application January 08, 2019, 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM Date(s) and Time(s):

Location: Surry Administrator's Office at the Surry Government Center, County General District Courtoom 45 School Street Category: This is a Category 3 meeting. Public participation is actively sought for this meeting to fully engage the public in a discussion of regulatory issues.

Purpose: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will conduct a scoping process to gather information necessary to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) to evaluate the environmental impacts for the subsequent license renewal of the operating licenses for Surry Power Station, Units 1 and 2. The NRC is seeking stakeholder input on this action.
