TVA Letter to NRC, "Extension Request Regarding the Flooding Hazard Reevaluation Report Required by NRC Request for Information Pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 50.54(f) Regarding Recommendation 2.1, Flooding, of the Near-Term Task Force Review of Insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichi Accident," dated March 11, 2014 In the referenced March 11, 2014 letter, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) submitted an extension request regarding the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant (BFN), flooding hazard reevaluation report (HRR). During the April 1, 2014, conference call with TVA, Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff requested the detailed schedule describing the tasks associated with completing the flooding HRR by the requested extension date of March 12, 2015.
The purpose of this letter is to provide the detailed schedule. Specifically, the enclosure to this letter provides the detailed schedule for completing the BFN flooding HRR project by March 12, 2015.
