Stakeholder Review of CAROLFIRE Test Results

Dear Mr. Marion:

The purpose of this letter is to respond to your letter of February 21, 2007, regarding this subject. We will be issuing the CA ble R esponse tO L ive FIRE (CAROLFIRE) test results for a 45 day public comment period in the May/June, 2007, time frame. We look forward to

using these results, with consideration of stakeholder comments, to inform the resolution of

spurious actuation/maloperation of equipment following exposure of electric cables to fire

conditions.

You are invited to submit any comments that you may have as part of that process.
