ENDORSEMENT OF NUCLEAR ENERGY INSTITUTE 11-08, "GUIDANCE ON SUBMITTING SECURITY PLAN CHANGES," REVISION 0, DATED AUGUST, 2012
Dear Mr. Kline:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) received your August 3, 2012, (Agencywide Documents Access Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML122160405) letter requesting endorsement of NEI 11-08, "Guidanc e on Submitting Security Plan Changes," Revision 0, dated August, 2012.
The staff has reviewed the document to ensure inclusion of prior NRC comments provided February 15, 2012, (ADAMS Accession Number ML120190329) May 16, 2012, (email of editorial comments), and July 5, 2012 (ADAMS Accession Number ML12159A388). The August 2012 version of NEI 11-08 provided in your August 3, 2012, letter addresses comments previously provided by the staff. Therefore, the NRC finds NEI 11-08, "Guidance on Submitting Security Plan Changes," Revision 0, dated August, 2012 acceptable for use by licensees.
