Vermont Yankee Power Uprate Communication Effort I am taking a few minutes to commend everyone that has supported communications on the VY power uprate. There has been a tremendous amount of progress in a very short time to prepare for key events such as the public meeting on 3/31, senior management and Chairman briefings, communication plan, letters to stakeholders, conference calls, arrangements for a facilitator, public meeting logistics, D-Notes, and coordination activities. Many people from various organizations have assisted in this effort. I know that many have put in extra time and effort to pull this together and have stepped-up to fill in for others on short notice. This is a noteworthy example of how our teamwork and cooperation can support our agency goal of openness.
We have only just begun, but I look forward to continuing to work with you on this important project.
