Suffolk County has recently delivered to each of you, among other documents, its (1) Motion to Terminate the Shoreham Operating License Proceeding (Feb. 23, 1983), (2) Supplemental Brief in Support of the County's Motion to Terminate (March 4, 1983), and (3) Letter to Mr. Denton opposing the extension of Shoreham's construction permit (March 15, 1983).
Since the County has sent you these documents, despite the fact that the pertinent issues are now pending before other decisionmakers in the agency, the Long Island Lighting Company feels it necessary to provide you with LILCO's responsive papers: its (1) Brief in Opposition to Suffolk County's Motion to Terminate this_ Proceeding and for Certification (March 18, 1983) and (2) Letter to Mr. Denton regarding extension of Shoreham's CP (March 22, 1983). These papers are attached.
