Dear Mr. Stolz,
PEMA has recently identified deficiencies in emergency preparedness for TMI-l which, in its view preclude a conclusion that that public health and safety is adequately protected.
Thusfar, I am aware of no action by NRC to order correction of these problems or to initiate the 120 day clock for correction contained in the NRC rules.
This letter is to inquire whether you plan to take any such action and if so, when? I would appreciate as much detail as I
you are currently in a position to offer.
