Dear Mr. Johnson:
On September 19, 1983 we verbally informed your Mr. R. G. Taylor of a deficiency identified during Startup testing regarding excessive, premature corrosion of valves in the Service Water System.
We have completed our investigation and concluded that the matter is not reportable under 10 CFR 50.55(e). Records supporting this determination are available for your Inspector's review at the CPSES site. .
