FEMA 0FFSITE EXERCISE REPORT FOR NORTH ANNALPOWER PLANT-Please find enclosed a copy of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Report dated-November 20,21992, for the offsite portion of the North Anna Power Plant Exercise on January 15, 1992~.
One Deficiency was identified during this exercise which resulted when :,he Commonwealth of Virginia released an Emergency Broadcast _ System Message which failed to contain appropriate information for residents and transients.-
Remedial action to correct this Deficiency was completed on September 22,. ,
-1992. Additionally, 47 Areas Requiring Corrective Action-(ARCA) were:
- identified.
We encourage you to assist the appropriate State and local organizations in resolving these ARCAs prior to the next full-scale emergency preparedness -
exercise.
