TASK 6: PWR SUPPLEMENT I i

6.a The Contractor shall develop and prepare 25 copies of a supplement to $

NUREG-1122, "Knowledges and Abilities Catalog for Nuclear Power Plant Operators: Pressurized Water Reactors," that consists of: two appendices of knowledge and ability statements similar to the

" Theory-Related" and " Components" appendices developed under Task 1.c for the BWR catalog and additional materials including revised plant-wide generic statements, revised system-wide generic statements for each systerr and emergency, and rating scales for collecting judgments concerning the frequency of testing each of the specific elements within the total examination process.

6.b The Contractor shall assist the NRC in conducting a three-day subject matter expert panel review meeting (to be convened in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area by NRC) to review the PWP supplement for completeness, accuracy and to rate the statements for importance using  !

the same rating scale used in Task 1.g. The NRC shall be responsible for l the subject matter expert panel member selection and participation. The .

Contractor will incur no cost for these panel members.

6.c The Contractor shall perform statistical analyses of the data collected ,

at the panel meeting which shall include the mean and standard deviations for each statement. Additional data analyses shall be perfonned to be compatible with the data analyses performed on the similar appendices produced in Task 1 for the BWR catalog.

. NRC-03-85-052 Modification 2 Page 3 6.d Within 21 calendar days of the completion of 6.b. the Contractor shall submit 5 copies of a camera ready supplement to the PWR catalog which consists of:

a. system-wide generic statements for all systems and emergencies;
b. plant-wide generic statements;
c. Appendix A: revised Components;
d. Appendix B: Theory-Related;
e. revised Table of Contents; and
f. revised Section 1--Introduction.

The supplement is to be prepared in the format of N'SEG 1122 in accordarce with the requirements of NRC Manual Chapter 3202 (Attachrent 3 to Contract RS-NRR-052).
