Dear Mr. Oehlbert:

Enclosed is an application (XCOM1335), dated May 14, 2020, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, from Materion Brush Inc., for the export of beryllium reflector elements and related minor reactor components to the Republic of Korea, for use at the Ki-jang Research Reactor.

We understand that the Executive Branch has accepted the generic assurances provided for similar exports of components to the Republic of Korea. Therefore, the NRC intends to issue this license after the 30-day review period on the basis of these generic assurances.
