Gentlemen:
This refers to telephone inquiries conducted by Frances Roselinsky, of this office, with Sigmund Restad on January 6, 1987, and with Jay McKendrick on January 8, 198 The inquiries were to be an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the NRC rules and regulations and conditions of your licens During these inquiries, it came to our attention that you sold the gas chromatograph af ter having removed the detector cell containing the radioactive nickel 63 source. We understand the detector cell will be returned to Perkin Elmer, Inc. and you will submit a form NRC-314,
