Vemiont Yankee Cycle 16 Operating Report Enclosed please find one copy of the Vermont Yankee Operating Report for the portion of Cycle 16 which occurred in calender year 1993, submitted in accordance with 10CFR50.59(b)(2) and 10CFR50.4. This report describes the facility changes, tests, and experiments, including a summary of the safety evaluation of each, which were conducted during this time period without prior NRC approval and which constituted a change in the facility as described in the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).

This report accommodates a regulatory-driven transition with regard to the submittal frequency for the Operating Report from annual to cyclic. As such, this report covers the period from January 1,1993 to the end of the 1993 refueling outage which occuned on October 24,1993.

(the end of Cycle 16). In accordance with 10CFR50.59(b)(2), this submittal is being made concurrent with a revision to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR), being submitted under separate cover.
