Dear Mr. Chairman:
In accordance with the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is filing the charter for the Advisory Committee on Medical Uses of Isotopes (ACMUI). The ACMUI provides advice on policy and technical issues that arise in regulating medical use of byproduct material for diagnosis and therapy. The enclosed charter for this Committee updates the document previously filed by the NRC in March 2016 and extends the life of the Committee through March 2020.
