Fwd: Low Profile-SENSITIVE ALLEGATION INFORMATION
--PROTECT APPROPRIATELY
-Bob, The alleger provided the attached to me yesterday afternoon.
After my discussion with her, she contacted Norm Cohen and indicated that that she wanted to continue to try to keep as low a profile as possible and was not interested in having a "background" meeting w/extemal interested parties (including NJDEP). So.I guess you can call Jill L. back and tell her that at least for the forseeable future, no such diiscussion is to be held. Regarding our review, you can tell her that the 1/28104 letter to the licensee describes it i.e., we are continuing to do interviews all around the site in an effort to get a general impression of the work environment for raising safety issues. The licensee was engaged (via the 1/28/04 letter) at this time because we felt that we had seen enough potential problems that it was prudent to put them on notice and get them to initiate action, instead of "waiting until the end" to voice our concerns.nfornmation in this record was deleted en accordance with the Freedom of Informatkq Act, exemptions FOJA.

Low Profile Norm, I appreciate the very generous support you have given me and your commitment to the issues at the Salem/Hope Creek plants getting fully addressed.
I also appreciate that, without knowing me, you chose to trust and confide in me.I hope what I am about to say will not disappoint you, but I fear it might. For the foreseeable future, the next few weeks at a minimum (unless something unforeseen happens), I am going to continue keeping a very low profile. That means no "background" meetings or conversations with public officials, reporters, or other interested parties. I realize that even highly trustworthy people could unintentionally say something that would lead to others making my identity public. I do not want to chance that happening.
Sorry if that puts a money wrench in your plans. I am making this choice because I want to determine, not have others determine.
when I "go public." I do not want to risk having my identity leaked. I also think it is prudent that I not take any unnecessary risks with my safety or my current position at Penn State.1. frankly, feel quite vulnerable.
And need to do whatever I can to reduce my own fear. This is one small step I can take. I am always looking to do whars best to have the most good come of all this for the most people. That remains my highest intention.
Thank you.Kymn Da~vid Vitoj-Fwd:

More "low profile" To Key Supporters.
As you talk with whoever you are talking with about the SalemlHope Creek matters, I ask that you not use anything I have shared with you, even without using my name.I am asking this because I believe this whole thing is now at a critical juncture.Yes, I know more than I can tell you so please respect that.I do not think the NRC needs "pressure" now that this matter has gone public.Hub Miller and company will not be swayed by "smoke and mirrors" or anything other than the truth. I firmly believe the root issues are going to be brought to light, not simply surface ones. Intervening when unnecessary can actually slow down the process, not speed it up.Much like awaiting the birth of a baby, it is our time to pace, hope, and pray. Thanks, Kymn
