Beyond Nuclear is formally and officially opposed to the Re-licensing and operation of the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant for which First Energy (FENOC) has submitted License Renewal Appliation (Re-licensing) to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). 2. Beyond Nuclear has over 6000 members several of which live within the 50 miles of the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant site. Beyond Nuclear is concerned that if the NRC grants the First Energy (FENOC) Re-licensing that the operation of the nuclear power plant could adversely affect the health and safety and the integrity of the environment in which Beyond Nuclear members live. 3. In order to ensure that the Re-licensing decision for the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant protects the interests of Beyond Nuclear members in a safe and healthy environment, Beyond Nuclear formally seeks to intervene on behalf of its members, who have attached declarations, in any Re-licensing proceeding and / or related rulemaking proceeding that concerns the safety and environmental impacts of the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant in Oak Harbor, Ohio. Beyond Nuclear intends, on behalf of its member(s), to take any legal actions necessary to ensure the Re-licensing proceeding and the rulemaking proceeding are conducted fairly, efficiently and in a manner that provides the full consideration of all Re-licensing issues that could affect the safety and health and the health of Beyond Nuclear members and their living environment.

My home is located within the Emergency Planning Zone for the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant operated by FirstEnergy which has filed an application before the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission to extend the nuclear power plant's operating license by 20-years.

3) I believe that the application for the license extension of Davis-Besse nuclear power plant is sufficiently inadequate as written and my interests will not be adequately represented without this action to intervene and without the opportunity of the Petit i oner to participate as a full party in this proceeding on my behalf. I therefore declare that Beyond Nuclear is my designated representative in this proceeding. If the Davis-Besse nuclea r power plant license is renewed without resolving the Pet i tioner's safety and environmental concerns, this nuclear power plant may operate unsafely and pose an unacceptab l e risk to the environment and the public health and safety of the Petitioner's member who lives, recreates and has business within the affected vicinity of the nuclear power reactor. ." 2) I have a residence at 4640 288 th St, Toledo, OH, 43611. My home is located within the Emergency Planning Zone for the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant operated by FirstEnergy which has filed an application before the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission to extend the nuclear power plant's operating license by 20-years.

3) I believe that the application for the license extension of Davis-Besse nuclear power plant is sufficiently inadequate as wr i tten and my interests will not be adequately represented without this action to intervene and without the opportunity of the Petit i oner to participate as a full party in this proceeding on my behalf. I therefore declare that the Green Party of Ohio is my designated representative in this proceeding. If the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant license is renewed without resolving the Petitioner's safety and environmental concerns, this nuclear power plant may operate unsafely and pose an unacceptable risk to the environment and the public health and safety of the Petitioner's member who lives, recreates and has business within the affected vicinity of the nuclear power reactor.
