Dear Administrative Judges:
On November 6, 2014, the NRC Staff issued Supplement 2 to the Safety Evaluation Report Related to the License Renewal of Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit Nos. 2 and 3 ("SSER 2"). Copies of SSER 2 became available to all of the parties in this proceeding on November 10, 2014. As we discussed with the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board's ("Board") Law Clerk, Kathleen Schroeder, on November 18, 2014, the parties are conferring in an effort to develop a proposed schedule for moving forward on Track 2 contentions, considering the issuance of SSER 2 and the length of time the Track 2 contentions have been held in abeyance.
To that end, the parties expect to submit a proposed schedule to the Board, including dates for filing new or amended contentions, dispositive motions, and testimony, no later than December 2, 2014.
