REQUEST FOR SUBSUMPTIO!! 0F GEtlERIC ISSUE B-d (GI B-6) IfiTO GEtiERIC ISSUE 119.1 (GI 119.1)
NRR is the designated fiRC lead office for the resolution of the only uncompleted portion (decoupling of SSE and LOCA loads) of GI B-6, "Loads, load Combinations and Stress Limits". However, decoupling of SSE ano LOCA loads is also a part of GI 119.1, "Pipe Rupture Requirerents and Decoupling of Seismic and LOCA Loads; for which P.ES is the designated fiRC lead of fice.
Since GI 119.1 is larger.in scope than GI B-G we request that Gl 119.1 subsume the remaining portion of GI B-6 to eliminate the unnecessarily redundant GlHCS tracking requirerents. RES and fiRR have been and will continue to work together in the resolution of these issues.
