AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE DPR-75 SALEM GENERATING STA'I'ION UNIT NO. 2 DOCKET NO. 50-311 The subject amendment provides relief from a limit of 90 hours0.00104 days <br />0.025 hours <br />1.488095e-4 weeks <br />3.4245e-5 months <br /> per year for the use of the Pressure/Vacuum Relief portion of the Containment Ventilation System.
Included in our request for this license change was a proposed administrative goal of 2000 hours0.0231 days <br />0.556 hours <br />0.00331 weeks <br />7.61e-4 months <br /> per year for the use of the system.
We have reevaluated that stated goal.
In our December 22, 1981 response to your review of generic con-cerns of contaiment purge and vent operations for Salem Unit No.l, we proposed a goal which would limit the use of the system to 1000 hours0.0116 days <br />0.278 hours <br />0.00165 weeks <br />3.805e-4 months <br /> per year.
Since the units are essentially identical and can be reasonably expected to have similar operating times for the Pressure/Vacuum Relief System, we propose that the system, which is used only for safety purposes, be subject to the same goal of 1000 hours0.0116 days <br />0.278 hours <br />0.00165 weeks <br />3.805e-4 months <br /> per year.
