This is in response to your letter to me and Director's Decision Under 10 CFR 2.206 dated November 5,1981, Please be advised that my letter of September 11,1981, on behalf of the Center for Nuclear Responsibility and concerning steam generator'ube integrity and pressure vessel embrittlement in Turkey Point Unit g4, was not a formal petition under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Commission's Regulations.
This is in response to your letter to me and Director's Decision Under 10 CFR 2.206 dated November 5,1981, Please be advised that my letter of September 11,1981, on behalf of the Center for Nuclear Responsibility and concerning steam integrity and pressure vessel embrittlement in Turkey Point generator'ube Unit g4, was not a formal petition under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Commission's Regulations.
The September 11th letter was merely advisory and intended to bring to your attention potential safety and legal problems associated with the continued operation of this severely degraded nuclear unit. It was never my intention, nor that of the Center for Nuclear Responsibility, that this letter be treated as a
