I informed you that I was calling in reference to your letter of December 4, 1978 to the Secretary of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
We at PPSL felt from reading your letter that perhaps you did not understand the purpose of the documents filed by the NRC and our Company in this matter. We also felt that you may not be completely familiar with the NRC intervention process and the applicable NRC Regu'ations.
We at PPSL felt from reading your letter that perhaps you did not understand the purpose of the documents filed by the NRC and our Company in this matter.
The purpose of PPSL's Answer to your Petition for Leave to Intervene was to point out that in our opinion the Petition did not comply fully with the applicable NRC requirements.                                               I was calling to make sure you understood that if your group did not comply with NRC Regulations, you would run the risk that the Hearing Board would refuse to allow your group to intervene as a party.             I also wanted to make certain you knew that you could amend your pleadings at any time prior to fifteen (15) days before the first prehearing conference.
We also felt that you may not be completely familiar with the NRC intervention process and the applicable NRC Regu'ations.
You responded that you are not completely familiar with all the Regulations and felt that they were somewhat difficult to understand.             You further indicated that you would probably call the NRC's attorney, James M. Cutchin, Esquire, to discuss this matter with him.                   I agreed that such a call might be advis-able.       I also noted that PP6L is still willing to meet with you or representatives of your group at any time.

Dear Mrs. Lemanowicz:

In accordance with your request, I am writing to confirm our telephone conversation of December 14, 1978.
