Your letter of January 17, 1979, requested additional information for recurrence control for the three items of noncompliance identified during IE Inspection No. 78-16 at the South Texas Project. The following actions have been implemented to preclude recurrence:

A. Training sessions have been conducted in the use of procedures for housekeeping inspection, the development of inspection acceptance criteria for megger testing, and implementation of the h'arehouse >!aintenance Card system.

B. Regularly scheduled surveillance of these specific activities is performed to verify adherence to procedures.
