| On December 24, 1980, while operating at 70% thermal power and 215 MW elec-trical, a valve in the suction path of one of the two bearing water makeup pumps developed a bonnet leak, which did not, in itself, render the pump inoperable. Later the same day, it was decided to remove the pump from service to repair the valve leak.

| CORRECTIVE ACTION:
| |
| Upon completion of the valve repair, the pump was returned to service.
| |
| No further corrective action is anticipated or required.
