Dear Mr. Schwencer:

In order to expalite cmpletion of the NRC staff review, PECO has re-reviewed the environmental qualification of all equipnent which is identified in Appendix B of the Limerick Environmental Qualification i

Report (EQR) and which is located in primary oontairrent against the NUREG-0588 tenperature profile.

A revision to page C-33 of the EQR which incorporates the generic tenperature profile is attached. The results of this re-review conclude that the equipnent is environmentally qualified to the NUREG-0588 generic profile. All environmental qualification files for this equipnent will be updated to reflect the use of the appropriate tmperature profile by March 31, 1985.

In the interim period, a note will be added-to each Qualification Package to reflect its conformance with NUREG-0588.

PECO will hold further discussions with the NRC Staff on the use of the plant unique containment tenperature profile in the Limerick Qualification program in accordance with Section 1.1 and Appendix A of NUREG-0588.
