4-Contract No. NRC-02-88-005 Modification No. 54 Page 2 The purpose of this modification is to:

1) revise the CNWRA's Principal Investigator / Technical / Signer, 2) revise Section B.2.B to-show funds which were obligated in the base period but uncosted (carryover funds), 3) revise the award fee pool for period 10 in Section B.2.A.f and in Attachment 11 to delete $405,673 and insert $299,452, and 4) change the Program Element Manager for Monitored Retrievable Storage.

Accordingly, the following changes are hereby incorporated:

1.

Revise the Principal Investigator / Technical / Signer to read as follows:

" Wesley C. Patrick, President CNWRA" 2.

Revise Section B.2.A.f and page-11 of Attachment 11 to delete

"$405,673" shown as the available award fee for period 10 (the last period shown) and replace with "299,452".

3.

Add at the end of Section B.2.A:

" Note that some of the funds which were obligated and authorized during the base contract period are shown as carryover funds in Section B.2.B."

Revise Section B.2.B.b to read as follows:

"b.

The amount presently obligated by the-Government with respect to this contract for this period is $1,690,300.

In addition, carryover funds in the amount of $3,792,279 are available for use in this renewal period as indicated below.

The award fee pool will be as stated -in the Award Fee Determination Plan (AFDP).

The AFDP will reflect the actual fee pool based on cumulative estimated costs for performance.of approved Operations.-

Revise the Program Element Manager for the Monitored Retrievable Storage Program Element to delete the name " Frederick Sturz" and replace with " Steve-Ruffin" in Section G.3.1.C of the contract.

This change is effective November 20, 1992.
