PORTABLE GAUGE STOLEN The licensee reported that a Troxler Model 3430 gauge was stolen from the back of a truck this morning (November 7) at 6:30 a.m. CST in Fort Worth, Texas. The driver had parked the truck at the front of a convenience stor<.s when the theft occurred. The gauge contains two sealed sources including a 40-millicurie americium-241 source and a 8-millicurie cesium-137 source. A case holding the gauge had been secured to the bed of the truck with a padlocked chain. An eyebolt on the chain had been pried open to effect the theft. The gauge was also locked within the chained case.                                                                         l The local police and the Texas Department of Health were notified by 15e licensee.
