This broad scope, performance based assessment will focus on the health physics program and its key interfaces to this program. The specific details of the methodology of this assessment are under development and review. | ||
By March 31,1997, CYAPCO will engage the services of an independent assessor to assess the quality and performance of the radiological control program and its implementation. | l Findings from the assessment will be evaluated by CYAPCO management and used to develop corrective actions. Preliminary reports of findings will be communicated to plant management throughout the progress of the assessment. N to the (CYAPCO) to supplement the response provided by letter dated March 7,1997 Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) Confirmatory Action Letter, dated March 4,1997.* Attachment 1 to this letter provides information in response to Action item 2 regarding the engagement of an independent assessor to assess the quality and performance of the radiological control program and its implementation.
