On December 20, 1985, we verbally notified your Mr. R. Hall of a deficiency involving discrepancies in supplier provided HVAC support documents which could invalidate the seismic qualification of the supports. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). We have submitted an interim report logged TXX-4668, dated January 20, 1986.

Hall of a deficiency involving discrepancies in supplier provided HVAC support documents which could invalidate the seismic qualification of the supports. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). We have submitted an interim report logged TXX-4668, dated January 20, 1986.
A program of field inspections and engineering verification has been'ini-tiated to determine the extent of this issue. As-built analyses of the support system in selected plant areas, in addition to the review of speci-fic hardware concerns, will provide information to assess the unresolved support qualification issue. These efforts are currently scheduled for completion in late May, 1986.
