During our telephone conversation on January 14,1998, you requested information on U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission procedures for low-level waste disposal records retention.

These procedures are outlined in NUREG-0910, Rev 3, *NRC Comprehensive Record Disposition Schedule" A copy is enclosed for reference. The applicable portion of the document is schedule 2.19.3, which lists records associated with land disposal of low-level waste as PERMANENT.
