Location Tit! Nuclear Station Director, THI-l NA/492 This nemo is to infom you of my intent to discontinue special~ perfomance monitoring of ftr. C. E. Husted.

I understand that you plan to do likewise.

Based on all our previous reports, including ifr. Husted's annual perfomance appraisal, Mr. Husted has consistently performed in a satisfactory fashion.

Despite the permanent loss of his, SRO license as part of management initiatives towards restart, ifr. Husted has maintained his positive attitude and contributed his talents towards non-licensed training.

Furthemore, the Training Department's instructor evaluation program provides for quarterly evaluations by the section head, along with an annual evaluation by the Manager, Plant Training, and evaluations by other Training Department supervisory personnel.

In addition, your operations personnel routinely-provide input to the Training Department on all training programs and instructors.

It is felt that the frequency of these routine evaluations is sufficient to monitor Mr. Husted's performance.
