The Board has drawn lines through those proposed corrections which it has rejected and, in two instances, has inserted wording which it has concluded to be correct.

December 23, 1986 ORDER (Partially Granting Applicants' Motion To Correct)

On December 1, 1986 Applicants filed a motion to correct the hearing transcript. On December 12 and on December 16, SAPL and Mass.,

respectively, partially opposed that motion.

Applicants' motion is partially denied for the following reasons:

At page 778, line 10, Applicants propose to insert a question. However, since Applicants had not opposed SAPL's motion of November 7 seeking to insert a different question and since the Board granted SAPL's motion to correct on December 3, Applicants cannot now be heard to request that their question be inserted or substituted for that of SAPL's.

At page 784, line 24, we do not recollect that the work " flow" was used; instead "and H --two" was 2

stated by the witness, and should be inserted after "RHR".

At page 787, line 4, it is our recollection that the witness stated "isn't".

At page 797, line 8, the misspelled word "prooposed" does not appear.

5.

At page 803, line 13, the Board does not recall that the word " low" was utilized by SAPL's counsel and indeed, that word would not have been appropriate in the context of his statement.

6.

At page 816, line 8, it is our recollection that the word "versus" was used by the witness.

7.

At page 830, line 2, the proposed correction is erroneous - the correct insertion is "NUREG 0737".

8.

At page 985, line 13, Applicants propose the deletion of the letter "Q" and the substitution of the letter "A".

It is clear that that portion of the witness' testimony incorrectly preceded by the letter "Q" is merely a continuation of the witness' answer, and thus should not be preceded by the letter "A".

.- Accordingly, the Board grants in part Applicants' motion to correct the hearing transcript filed on December 1,1986. The appended Applicants' list of corrections in the main has been approved by the Board and shall be included in the record as an appendix pursuant to 52.750(b). The Board has drawn lines through those proposed corrections which it has rejected and, in two instances, has inserted wording which it has concluded to be correct.
