We have received your letter dated December 17,1997, in which you requested renewal of your Quality Assurance (QA) Program Approval No. 0757, Revision No. O. However, the Nuclear Regulatory Commbsion published a final rule, effective June 27,1997, revising the requirements of 10 CFR Part 34, " Licenses for Industrial Radiography and Radiation Safoty Requirements, for Industrial Radiographic Operations " The revision, which contained numerous changes in the requirements, also modified the QA requirements for transportation.
