, The licensee has reported that an antinuclear group calling itself-the Trojan Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) plans to hold a demonstration at the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant on flovember 25, 1977.

The licensee is increasing site security and is closely coordinating security arrange-me'nts with appropriate state and local authorities.

!!RC Region V (San Francisco) will monitor the licensee's preparation and protective measures.

The TDA has previously demonstrated at Trojan, the most recent occurrence having been August 6-8, 1977, at which time 81 out of a total of 180 demonstrators were arrested for refusing to disperse in a nonviolent confrontation with authorities.

It is anticipated by the licensee that the TOA will pursue similar tactics during this demonstration ano avoid s

any violent confrontation with authorities. The NRC possesses no information indicating that there will be any violence during this demonstration.

The IAT has been notified.

This PN is being issued to alert the Commission to the possibility of publicity and media interest connected with this planned demonstration.
