==Dear Nuclear Regulatory Commission Holtec comments,==
This is a beautiful state but with a history of radiation exposure to its residents. As a physician, I see the ravages of cancer all the time. There is no need for New Mexico to be the dumping ground for everyone. Each state should be responsible for its own nuclear waste in their respective state. Don't do this to our people or our wildlife.

I object to the approval of the Holtec Consolidated Interim Storage site near Carlsbad, NM. It would be safer to reduce transportation of highly radioactive used reactor fuel by leaving it at the site of generation until a permanent repository exists. ?

[External_Sender] Please do not approve Holtec permit in New Mexico

Dear Nuclear Regulatory Commission Holtec comments,

This is a beautiful state but with a history of radiation exposure to its residents. As a physician, I see the ravages of cancer all the time. There is no need for New Mexico to be the dumping ground for everyone. Each state should be responsible for its own nuclear waste in their respective state. Don't do this to our people or our wildlife.

I object to the approval of the Holtec Consolidated Interim Storage site near Carlsbad, NM. It would be safer to reduce transportation of highly radioactive used reactor fuel by leaving it at the site of generation until a permanent repository exists. ?

-- The proposed site is near a highway presenting a terrorism risk.

--?The plan does not adequately address radiation risk to workers. ?

--?There should be real-time monitoring for leakage.

--?The lack of consideration of Hardened On-Site Storage at the reactor site as an alternative is a glaring problem. ?

--?The lack of an on-site plan to deal with leakage is extremely concerning.
