Enclosed is an application XSOU8828/03, dated March 4, 2022, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) from Global Advanced Metals USA, Inc. The purpose of the amendment is to make changes to the Ultimate Foreign Consignees list. The licensee is authorized to export 30,000 kilograms of natural uranium and thorium, for non-nuclear end uses and for the purpose of tantalum and niobium extraction. | |||
As a matter of process, and in accordance with 10 CFR Part 110.82, the application will be public for 30 days before the NRC takes any action on them. If no dissenting public comments are received, and all applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the amended license, for non-nuclear end uses, after the 30 -day comment period.
