Arkansas Nuclear One - Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-313 and 50-368 License Nos. DPR-51 and NPF-6 NUREG 0737 Supplement 1 - CRDR Program Plan Gentlemen:
In our response to NUREG 0737 Supplement 1, Requirements for Emergency Response Capabilities (0CAN048312), we committed to provide to the NRC our Control Room Design Review (CRDR) Program Plan for both ANO-1 and ANO-2 by November 25, 1983. This document is attached for your review.
The CRDR Program Plan outlines in detail AP&L's approach for the review of both the ANO-1 and Ah0-2 control rooms. The end product of the Program Plan will be the ANO-1 anc ANO-2 CRDR Final Summary Reports. These reports will outline the findings of the Program Plan and provide schedules for necessary control room modifications. ANO-l's Final Summary Report is scheduled to be completed by August 14, 1985. ANO-2's report will be completed by May 5, 1986. Both of these reports will be submitted to the NRC upon completion.
To keep your office posted of our progress in this area, the six-month NUREG 0737 Supplement I status reports will include a discussion of our CRDR efforts.
