Supplement to July 24, 1975 NSP to NRC fetter on RefuelinR Infomation This letter is written to doctanent a verbal response to information requested by Mr Roy Woods of your organization on September 16, 1975. On March 12, 1975 ve submitted a license amendment request to adopt the GETAB/GEXL heat flux correla-tion. This submittal referenced an analysis applicable to Monticello Cycle 4.

On July 24, 1975 we informed you that a similar analysis was being done for Cycle 5 which was expected to be bounded by the Cycle 4 analysis. The Cycle 5 analysis has been cocipleted in the manner discussed in the July 24, 1975 Icteer and was found to be bounded by the Cycle 4 analysis. The cycle 5 analysis, therefore, I justifies a technical specification Minimum Critical Pcuer Ratio (HCPR) limit that is less restrictive than that presently requested by the Mar:h 12, 1975 license amendment request.
