Nuclear Power Division Beaver Valley Power Station FITNESS-FOR-DUTY REPORT MRO SIX MONTII REPORT From July 1,1997, through December 31,1997, our records indicate, in the Pre-Access program category for the licensee pool, one (1) confirmed positive for dual substances, ane (1) confirmed positive in the Long-Term contractor pool and four (4) confirmed positives in the Short-Term contractor pool.
FOLLOW-UP OF PREVIOUS SIX-MONTII REPORT RANDOM On June 4,1997, a licensee employee experienced a confirrned intoxilyzer positive test result. The employee was placed o, indefinite suspension, denied unescorted access and referred to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for evaluatic,; and treatment recommendations. The employee was returned to work on July 7,1997, completed the recommended rehabilitation prc gam, and unescorted access was reinstated on July 9, 1997 The employee is presently participating in a follow-up program.
