River Bend Station - Unit 1 Refer to: Region IV Docket No. 50-458/ Report 87-04 Attached is Gulf States Utilities Company's (GSU) response to Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Inspection report No. 50-458/87-04.                                            The inspection was performed by Mr. James A. F. Kelly on February 2-6, 1987 of activities authorized by NRC Operating License NPF-47 for River Bend Station Unit No. 1.
GSU's responses to two previously identified findings, unresolved items 458/8629-02 and 03, and one new open item 458/8704-01 .are provided in the attachments.              In accordance with 10CFR73.21, information contained in these attachments has been determined to                                            contain    safeguards information and should be handled accordingly. This completes GSU's response to the report.
