It also asked for a change in the date set for replies and for holding a further prehearing conference. The grounds given for the requested extension were the extent of the contentions and their complexity Intervenors responded on August 6, 1986 and were much in agreement with Applicants' proposal. | |||
The matter was the subject of a telephone conference call on August 6,1986 in which all of the parties participated. The subject was discussed including the time needed by the Licensing Board to review the submittals prior to holding the conference. | |||

2 The Licensing Board determined that the following schedule should meet the needs of the participants, in lieu of that previously established. | |||
By noon of August 15, 1986 Applicants and NRC are to file their responses to Intervenors' contentions. By noon of August 25, 1986 Intervenors are to file their replies to Applicants' and NRC Staff's responses. The prehearing conference will be held on September 3, 1986, commencing at 9:00 a.m. local time, in the New York State Court of Claims, State Office Building, Room 3B44, Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, New York. Should the conference not be completed on that day, it shall continue at the same location on the following day, to no later than 1:00 p.m. | |||
