Boron Neutron Capture Therapy Phase I Patient Trials Gentlemen:

We are writing to update NRC on our schedule for the initiation of Phase I patient trials for neutron capture therapy. We have identified a patient and intend to perform the initial trial on 6 September 1994 with subsequent sessions on 9,13, and 16 September 1994. All sessions will be in the afternoon. The patient is now undergoing a boron uptake test. If the results of that test are negative, then the therapy will not be initiated. We will notify you by phone of the uptake test result.
