subject:    Salem Generating Station Units Nos. 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-272 and 50-311 Amendment to the Facility Operating License License Change Request 92-12 The subject request was submitted to the NRC by PSE&G letter dated February 23, 1993 and revised by PSE&G letter dated July 19, 1993.      The .rev.ised request proposes to delete the Boric Acid Storage Tank level instrumentation and associated surveillance and action statement requirements from the list of Post Accident Monitoring instrumentation contained ip Tables 3. 3-1.l and 4. 3-11 of the Salem Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications. This is based on this instrumentation not being assumed operable in the Salem accident analysis.          The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Energy's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) has reviewed the request in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b) and has no comments.
