Dear Mr. Price:
The Toledo Edison Cc=pany has today filed Amendment No. 8 to the application to construct and operate the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. This amendment covers all changes to the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report necessitated by the recer'ly announced plans to use a closed cycle cooling tower system as well as miscellaneous corrections.
Three signed orig.nals and 32 conformed copies of the amendment page tcgether with 80 copies of the PSAR changes are being transmitted to AEC rnder separate cover.
