Dear Mr. Thompson:

Tnis is to indicate Commonwealth Edison's plans for applications and requests for review to be submitted between now ano De cember 31, 1983.

The Carroll County project is the only one which falls into any of the categories identified in your letter of December 5, 1980. At present, those units are s cheduleo for service in 1993 and 1994. As you know, the request for early site review and constructon permits was submitted on April 4, 1979. A ccording to our present s chedule , the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report will not be suomitted before early 1984. Updated anti-trust information must be submitted between 9 and 36 months in advance of the PSAR, probably sometime in 1982.

With regard to plants under construction, here are the estimated fuel load dates:

LaSalle County 1 6/15/81 LaSalle County 2 6/82 Byron 1 4/83 Byron 2 4/84 Braidwood 1 4/85 Braidwood 2 4/86 Please contact me if further information is needed.
