NRC STAFF'S NOTICE OF INTENT TO PARTICIPATE AS A PARTY On November 19, 2009, the Board issued a Memorandum and Order (Granting Petition to Intervene), wherein the Board granted standing to Southern Alliance for Clean Energy
NRC STAFF'S NOTICE OF INTENT TO PARTICIPATE AS A PARTY On November 19, 2009, the Board issued a Memorandum and Order (Granting Petition to Intervene), wherein the Board granted standing to Southern Alliance for Clean Energy
("SACE") and admitted Contentions 1 and 7. Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.1202(b), the Staff hereby provides formal notification of its intent to participate as a party in this adjudicatory proceeding with respect to all of the admitted contentions. Since the Board's issuance of its Memorandum and Order, the Staff has been actively engaged as a party with SACE and the Tennessee Valley Authority ("TVA") regarding discovery, and anticipates that disclosures will be provided pursuant to the Agreement of the Parties Regarding Mandatory Discovery Disclosures filed by TVA on December 1, 2009.
