Fort Calhoun Station (FCS), Unit No.1, 10 CFR 72.48 Evaluation Summary Reports for July 21,2006, through July 22, 2010 On July 21, 2006, the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) approved Revision 0 of the 10 CFR 72.212 Evaluation Report (Reference
: 3) and on July 29, 2006, the first storage of spent fuel under the general license occurred (Reference 4). 10 CFR 72.48(d)(2) requires each licensee and certificate holder to submit a report conta.ining a brief description of any changes, tests, and experiments, including a summary of the evaluation of each at intervals not to exceed 24 mOl1ths. However, due to all oversight in capturing the 10 CFR 72.48(d)(2) reporting requirement in FCS procedures and the FCS commitment tracking system, the required reports were not submitted at the proper time. This i ssue has been entered into the FCS corrective action program (Condition Report 2010-2528).
Thus far, OPPD (the I'icensee), has not performed any changes, tests, or experiments that resu'lted in a 10 CFR 72.48 evaluation.
Nevertheless, to comply with the reporting requirement of 10 CFR 72.48(d)(2), two 10 CFR 72.48 Evaluation Summary Reports Employment with Equal Opportunity U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission L I C-1 0-0058 Page 2 are attached.
