OF COPIES OF DOCUMENTS

TO NRC -GENERIC LETTER #82-19 This information letter is to clarify the number of copies of certain documents, which should be submitted to NRC by Rese rch and Test reactor licensees for proper processing.

They are as follows: Emergency Plans and Amendments

-10 copies Physical Security Plans and JAmendments

6 copies Emergency Plans: On April 1, 1982, the Commission approved a final amendment to 10 CFR 150.54(r)

revising the dates for submittals of emergency plans by certain research and test reactor licensees.

This amendment was published (47 FR 19512) and became effective on May 6, 1982. The number of copies to be submitted was inadvertently omitted in the final amendment.

Physical Security Plans: There has been some uncertainty about the number of copies required.

It is intended that this information letter resolve that uncertainty.

Also, you are reminded that information to be withheld from public disclosure should not be included in the transmittal letter itself.These requests for information were approved by the Office of Management and Budget under clearance numbers 3150-0011, which expires 4/30/85, and 3150-0002, which expires 5/31/83, respectively.
