Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. NPF-73 Beaver Valley Power Station Physical Security Plan (Revision 16)This letter forwards Revision 16 of the Beaver Valley Power Station (BVPS) Physical Security Plan (PSP) which was effective on September 11, 2013. Attachment A provides a summary of the Revision 16 changes. The changes were reviewed and determined not to decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the BVPS Physical Security Plan. Accordingly, these revisions are being submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2).
The enclosed revision of the BVPS Physical Security Plan is Safeguards Information and must be withheld from public disclosure under the provisions of 10 CFR 73.21.There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter. SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION When Separated From Enclosure, Handle This Document As Decontrolled SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION When Separated From Enclosure, Handle This Document As Decontrolled ATTACHMENT A L-1 3-334 Summary of BVPS Physical Security Plan, Revision 16 Changes Page 1 of 1 The following summarizes the BVPS Physical Security Plan (PSP), Revision 16 Changes: Revision 16 of the BVPS PSP revises Appendix C, BVPS Safeguards Contingency Plan to clarify the manning of the Central Alarm Station (CAS) and Secondary Alarm Station (SAS) to include the day to day normal manning of CAS and SAS. This change will clarify the Security Organizations Logistical Infrastructure manning with the template language located in Chapter 15 Section 15.4.The changes being made by Revision 16 of the BVPS PSP were reviewed using NEI 11-08, "Guidance on Submitting Security Plan Changes," and it was determined that NEI 11-08 was not conducive to this change.
