.com 10 CFR 20.2206 Based on the guidance in 10 CFR 20.1502, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) performed an a priori dose assessment and determined that individual monitoring at Humboldt Bay Power Plant (HBPP) during calendar year 2018 was no longer required.
Monitoring of work areas and occupied equipment likely to represent the highest exposed individual continued through the third quarter 2018. The monitoring validates that the assumptions used in the dose assessment were acceptable.
As final site restoration . activity was completing in various areas monitoring was discontinued.
Individual monitoring is no longer required at HBPP. Therefore, no report was filed for calendar year 2018 in accordance with 10 CFR 20.2206(c).
PG&E makes no new or revised regulatory commitments (as defined by NEI 99-04) in this letter. If you have any questions, please contact William Parish, Radiation Protection Engineer, at (707) 441-2641.
