During steady state power operation -(at 2393 MWt) on 10-8-80~,
notification 'was received' from the AE that the drywell 4
equipment drain sump discharge to.
radwaste ~ piping is not scismic beyond anchor' 2Gll-RAD-A91.
This was determined by computer reanalysis of the piping following surveillance walkdown per IEB 79-14.
Therefore, outboard containment isolati.on valve- '2Gil-F020 is~ not seismically supported _ such that. p r im ary ' ' c on t a inm e n t integrity could be-degraded by an earthquake.
This is a nonrepetitive event, and there -was no effect upon public health or safety as a result of this event.
j Continued operation in the present condition can be justified as follows unt'il:t.he fix can be made:

In addition, remote manual capability for the line.is still-provided.
Note' va lve s ' 2Gil-F019 and 2Gil-F020 were erroneously reported in 'our fprompt notification and telegram as being normally l-closed.

nonrepetitivo event-Immediate corrective action consists of the:

Site is presently awaiting a design package from the AE so 'that a design. change request can L be initiated to restore seismic capability to th i s-' pipe such that valve ~2Cll-F020 will the scismically' supported.-
